Coming Out – One Year Later

On December 24th, 2014, I told my parents and brother who I truly was. On December 24th, 2015, we celebrated that day and talked about how much has changed since then.

Personality wise, no, I’ve not changed at all. But physically and emotionally, I’ve changed so much it’s hard to believe this only happened in a year.

I don’t want to go into the specifics (otherwise this will be very long), but I will say that transitioning has been the hardest yet best choice I have ever made. Each day is a day worth fighting for.

Here’s to many more years. Happy maniversary to me, and happy holigays.
